Are the Candlestick-Egg-Urns heavy or light in weight? It’s hard to tell from the online picture.

Everyone is surprised at how incredibly heavy they are when they first flit one (please see product details for weight specifications). We ONLY use solid bars of U.S. stainless steel because protecting the integrity of your loved one’s remains is not only our commitment to your family, it’s our honour.

Can I buy just 1 Candlestick-Egg-Urn?

Yes you purchase our keepsake Candlestick-Egg-Urns as a single set. A few customers have told us that after purchasing a set of 2 or 3 Candlestick-Egg-Urns they chose to only display 1 in their home and they shared the other Candlestick-Egg-Urns with family members and friends.

Can I use these urns for pet creation?

Yes, you may absolutely use our Candlestick-Urns for pet cremation, many of our clients do just that. UrbanRIP urns are meant to protect all our loved ones with beauty and integrity ...pets included.

Can UrbanRIP Candlestick-Egg-Urns hold the entire cremated remains that we picked up from the crematorium?

Each Candlestick-Egg Urn hold approximately 8 teaspoons of ashes. UrbanRIP Candlestick-Egg-Urns are meant for sharing ashes. A full-sized urn would accommodate cremated remains in their entirety best, we are currently finalizing the designs of our full-sized urn, these will be available in Fall 2019. Does UrbanRIP arrange Scattering Memorials?

UrbanRIP does not provide Scattering Memorial Services. We support your decision to part with your loved one in any way that fits best with your values. We offer a modern alternative when you chose to keep a small amount of cremation ashes in your home. Our products don’t make visitors in your home feel uncomfortable as candlesticks naturally fit into a home’s décor and do not resemble a traditional funeral urn. Our Candlestick-Urns are meant to hold a small amount of cremated ashes, families that chose a Scattering Memorial for their loved one traditionally chose to safeguard a small amount of ashes within their home so that a small part of the person they loved can be near them forever, respectfully protected and celebrated under their own roof. Most people find it inconvenient to regularly pay their respects where ashes were scattered.

How many Egg-Urns can I stack within 1 Candlestick-Urn?

We recommend stacking 2 urns within 1 Candlestick-Urn configuration.

Is it hard or uncomfortable to fill the Egg-Urn with cremation ashes?

No one will treat your loved one's remains with more respect or care than YOU, but this is a fair concern. Cremation remains look and feel like sand or crushed seashells and it is very easy and simple to transfer the ashes into the Egg-Urn. We respectfully provide you with a metal funnel and a measuring tool to make the process seamless. We also provide you with step by step instructions to assist you every step of the way.

Why would I need keepsake Candlestick-Urns if my family wants to scatter or bury cremation ashes?

Our Candlestick-Egg-Urns are meant to hold a small amount of cremated ashes, families that chose a Scattering Memorial or burial for their loved one’s cremated remains traditionally chose to safeguard a small amount of ashes within their home for their own personal reasons. What we’ve heard most, is that it’s comforting to know that a small part of the person you loved can be near you forever, respectfully protected and celebrated under your own roof. Most people find it inconvenient to regularly pay their respects where ashes were scattered or to visit a cemetery or a mausoleum due to distance and our everyday busy lives. Candlelight can be soothing, there's comfort in lighting a candle and remembering the warmth of the love and the memories we shared with someone that can no longer be here.

My order never arrived.

If you order displays your Package Tracking Numbers, check with the shipper to confirm that your packages were delivered. If your packages each show a status of "delivered", please contact us for assistance.

How do I create an account?

How much is my shipping?

UrbanRIP provides complimentary shipping of your purchase today; within Canada and U.S. International and overseas shipping rates are available, on an individual request, please contact us directly to see if you country qualifies info@urbanrip.com. I forgot my password.

When will my order ship?

UrbanRIP keepsake Candlestick Egg-Urns are custom made in small production runs to ensure high quality control. Designed and made in Canada and shipped from Canada. For updated shipping times, please check under “shipping information” at checkout. Also, after placing your order, you may click the "Sign in or Register" link at the top right hand side of our site to track the status of your order. Your order will be confirmed by email, and you will receive a shipment confirmation with tracking information by email when your order has been shipped.
